Leonard Tharpe is a Lead Consultant in big data analytics, data systems, and information technology.
Mr. Tharpe holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science as well as an M.S. in Management Information Systems. With extensive experience in computer science and information technology, he has served in both technical and management roles. He has successfully led information technology projects for the Department of Defense, federal, state, and local governments, as well as a wide range of commercial and nonprofit organizations.
During his career in the U.S. Army, Mr. Tharpe contributed to information technology, acquisition and procurement, communications-electronics, and field artillery. His notable military assignments include serving at the Pentagon in the Army Office of the Chief Information Officer, the Army Strategic and Advanced Computing Center, and the Army Artificial Intelligence Center.
He has substantial experience in delivering solutions in data analytics, data management, and cybersecurity. Additionally, Mr. Tharpe has been closely involved in workforce development initiatives at both state and federal levels.
