Erdem Ata is an AI/ML Engineer at Pangea, where he works on the development of Pangea’s AI Operating System for Healthcare. The platform aims to enable healthcare systems to seamlessly integrate and deploy AI models within their clinical workflows.
Erdem is a mechatronics expert with extensive hands-on experience in artificial intelligence for robotics, including autonomous vehicles using computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine learning. He has significant experience working with large language models and integrating them into enterprise workflows. His previous work focused on the mathematical explainability of convolutional neural networks, exploring their behavior through frequency-domain methods such as Fourier analysis and wavelet-based approaches.
At Pangea, Erdem contributes to the development of the AI Operating System for Healthcare, an enterprise platform designed to enable hospitals to safely deploy, manage, and scale clinical AI. The system integrates with core hospital infrastructure such as PACS, RIS, and EMR systems, routes medical studies to appropriate AI models, executes models in secure containerized environments, and delivers results directly within clinicians’ existing workflows. By providing routing, execution, governance, and safety layers, the platform enables healthcare organizations to adopt AI from multiple vendors while maintaining centralized oversight, compliance, and scalability.
